Greater Purpose Conference – April 9-11
Are you the type who likes to be inspired or learn something new? Those of the Christian faith or who are interested in religion might like to consider the Greater Purpose Conference + “INSPIRED” Bible Artifacts Exhibit.
Things kick of Wednesday, April 9 with a welcome reception in which you will have time to meet other guests as well as speakers while enjoying cookies and coffee for refreshment. Chuck and Helen Todd, founders of the World Missions Alliance will share a brief history and overview of their organization. You are required to register for the conference as well as an RSVP for the welcome reception to attend.
On Thursday, April 10 at 9:30 a.m. there will be a Q&A session about mission trips featuring answers to World Mission Alliances’ frequently asked questions as well as questions from the audience during the session. The ancient Bible artifacts exhibit opens Thursday from 1:30-6:30 p.m. From 3-4 p.m. you are welcome to bring prayer requests and pray with the WMA prayer team.
On Friday at 9:30 a.m. the conference begins again with a “Ways to Serve” session in which you can learn more about the ministry outreaches in which you can participate. Following that, there will be both fellowship and a Q&A for medical professionals can learn more about medical missions from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The artifacts exhibit opens once again from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Finally, Dr. Scott Carroll will wrap up the conference with an “INSPIRED” session at 7 p.m.
A ticket to the conference costs $100 but there is currently a special offer to get your ticket for $50.
Branson Community Garage Sale – April 26
The Semi-Annual Spring Garage Sale at the Branson RecPlex returns Saturday, April 26 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a free event so feel free to show up and shop for gently used household items, clothing, toys, furniture and more. Booth spaces tend to always sell out so you’ll have lots of treasures to consider scooping up! There’s not too many other Branson MO events that offer better deals than you’ll find here!
Bulls, Bands & Barrels with Riley Green and Craig Morgan – April 26
The 2025 concert season at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena kicks off with Bulls, Bands & Barrels on Saturday, April 26. There will be professional bull riding and live music performances from country music stars Riley Green and Craig Morgan. Tickets, at the time of this writing, begin at $74.45 but several seating and experiences are available. General admission parking is free with a valid concert ticket. Diamond parking upgrades are available for purchase in advance. ADA parking is free and available as long as patrons display their ADA placard upon arrival to the venue.
