With everything opening back up, there’s tons to do in Branson, MO this summer with family.

We’ve detailed a few spots we feel like are a must-visit this summer, including a few things that weren’t available to you in years past.

1. Mystic River Falls at Silver Dollar City

To celebrate Silver Dollar City’s 60th anniversary, the former Lost River of the Ozarks attractions received an upgrade. Mystic River Falls has the tallest drop in the Western Hemisphere with a 6-story tall elevated river channel. It also offers a half-mile journey through the river rapids that lasts nearly 6 minutes, making the lines worthwhile.

This 8-person raft ride is a must-visit for all adventurous and SDC-loving families!

2. Moonshine Beach on Table Rock Lake

This beach has all the space you need to forget you’re even at the lake and not at the ocean.

This popular sandy swimming beach has countless recreational activities for the whole family, including volleyball courts, boat ramps, picnic areas, a playground, and, of course, swimming.

The Dewey Short Visitor Center is also adjacent to the beach and offers a hiking trail about 2 miles long with beautiful views of Table Rock Lake.

If hiking is your family’s thing, we also have a guide featuring some of the best hiking trails Branson has to offer.

3. Branson Duck Tours

After terrible weather, poor procedures, and outdated mechanical equipment cost the lives of 17 people back in 2018, Branson Duck Tours is reopening promising “newer and safer amphibious bus tours” including updated amphibious vehicles. Branson Duck Tours said it will use the Hydra-Terra, describing it as a state-of-the-art amphibious tour bus specifically designed and built for safe duck tours. The Hydra-Terra has been a proven performer with successful operations in 27 countries around the world and has a design proven to be unsinkable by the US Coast Guard.

If you have been missing the Duck Tours and are willing to give it another try, they’re still planning on opening again this year.

4. Big Double Decker Slide Boat Rental at State Park Marina

If you’re looking for a BIG adventure for the whole family, the Big Double Decker Slide Boat is a great place to start. At State Park Marina, you can have double the fun with this boat rental. But hurry, because the website states this rental will book fast!

The boat holds up to 18 passengers and boasts 2 levels with 2 slides. The Double Decker also features a premium sound system with bluetooth and a powerful 150 HP engine.

This is a surefire way to make wonderful memories with the family this summer in Branson.

5. Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai

If you’ve been to the Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai show before, things might look a little different in 2021.  This year, they are featuring an all-new performance, Shanghai Circus, which is said to offer more variety than ever before witnessed from their shows.

Shanghai Circus is combining LED technological innovations with exceptional artistic performance.

The show offers something for the whole family with entertainment such as incredible acrobatics, colorful dance, comedy, mystifying magic, and numerous aerial feats of strength.

If this doesn’t spike your interest, we did a guide with six other Branson shows with new material in 2021.
