Board a boat
Depending on the weather, the water might be too cool to take a dip, but why not rent a boat from one of the many marinas in the area to enjoy some fishing or simply take in the scenery.
You can’t go wrong with a visit to either Table Rock Lake or Lake Taneycomo.
There’s also the option to board the Showboat Branson Belle and spend some time topside to see Table Rock Lake before the dinnertime entertainment.
Take a train ride
The Branson Scenic Railway offers a 40-mile round trip excursion through the Ozark bridges, foothills, trestles, and tunnels. During your ride on the vintage passenger train you will learn the history of the area, gaze upon the southwest Missouri or northwest Arkansas wilderness, and see the ruins of long-ago communities now named only on railroad maps.
Passengers are also welcome to tour the entirety of the train as the cars have been restored and refurbished to their old glory. The era the cars come from span from the 30s to the 60s.
